Hate to be home. I miss all of you guys and the hot weather.
I cannot thank the coaches enough for such a fantastic learning experience.
A round of applause to Michel, Aubrey and Lorene… seriously, thanks a ton and also Lisa Bentley, Alicia Kaye, and Len Gushe for giving us their time and knowledge.

First off, we pranked Lorene and attacked her with water balloons.. according to her we’re horrible and didn’t even get her wet. WHATEVER.
This morning we got up at literally the crack of dawn and had to finish packing and cleaning, and head over to the boys house. We woke up almost all the guys (SORRY) and said our final goodbyes. Hopefully we’ll see each other before the races in the summer :)

It is the last night of camp.. sad sad night :( but everyone had such a good week! We will definitely have a OAT Canada Games re-united weekend forsure!

SO today we had a nice break after the swim time trial (results will be posted later) where we could eat Aubrey’s delicious cooking (bacon and eggs and toast :P) and then we biked over to the bankrupt sub division to try to beat our original team time trial time. It was quite hot outside but after a great warm up, EVERYONE BEAT THEIR TIME!!!!!!!!! The communication from each member in the groups were great, the cornering improved a tun, and obvious the overall speed was much faster (which is great for the last day of a hard training camp)!!! Thanks so much to Aubrey for greatly improving each aspect of our biking! Michel lead us through some fun bike to run relays, where we practiced our dismounts and putting our helmets on after being really disoriented. :P Overall a great day !

The name of the day was “Scrub Jay” because that is the reason (other than rui going crazy) that we all got lost. It was the new street we were supposed to turn right at .. but somehow we all missed it.

This morning we are just about to head to the pool for our 400m time trial so we’ll update you on that in a bit… hopefully no one else is awake at this our to read this, if you are.. GO BACK TO BED!!!!!!
